A hiker was rescued by Scottsdale, Phoenix and Tempe Fire crews on Sunday after she fell on Sunrise Trail, Scottsdale Fire spokesperson Michael Bolinger said.
The woman was extracted off the mountain and transported by helicopter to a local hospital for medical evaluation. No further details were provided.
The incident comes a day after another hiker was transported by helicopter off Camelback Mountain by Phoenix and Tempe crews, the Phoenix Fire Department reported on Saturday. The woman was hiking Echo Canyon Trail when she fell and injured her leg.
